Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the third-party results provider. Indian Trail Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us directly, we receive the contents of the message solely to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Our host may create routine logs containing an IP address, browser information, visited pages, and time stamps. We review that data in aggregate for service maintenance and page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support essential analytics or advertising measurement.
How Data Is Used
We use the limited information for operations, fault correction, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Service-Provider Access
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information this service holds. Because we retain very little, we normally review the contact mailbox and relevant logs and remove eligible material promptly. Use the Contact page to make a request. North Carolina state, Union County, and Town of Indian Trail records remain under their respective custodians; requests to remove or correct those public records go to the custodian, including the G.S. 132-1.10 process for covered PII redaction.
Policy Updates
Any revised policy will appear here. Continuing to use the service after publication means you accept the updated policy.
